Had a good day today,
Spent most the time smiling,
Laughing with the people i met.
But then you interferred.
The smile was lost,
The laughs turned into screams.
My heart started to bleed.
You werent even there,
I know it wasnt your fault,
But you promised it wouldnt get complicated,
So whats this then?
There trying to make me hate you,
Trying to show you in a bad light,
Then saying how wonderful your brother is,
'His more your ages, his just like you, you'd make such a sweet couple'
But all i want is to walk down the street holding your hand,
Stopping to kiss you,
Looking you in your eyes,
Saying I love you too.
Your past is just the past,
It shouldnt screw up your future,
I know you've changed,
You show me that everyday.
They should understand.
They said you'd just get bored,
But that was a month or so ago.
I should move on,
Put my life back on track,
Forget about you,
But thats what they want not me.
Should i sacrifice what we want,
Just to please them?
